Packaging Innovations London 2019 | Curtis supports WRAP guidelines

Previously at Packaging Innovations Curtis has showcased numerous methods of how to produce beautiful cartons using sustainable materials and production methods.  Starting with packaging for the senses, demonstrating how cartons can engage consumers through more than just sight.

The company then wowed brand and marketing teams with its Finishing Touches Collection, a scorecard system on factors to take in to consideration when choosing cartons, including the environmental impact these would have.  September sees the improved and ever popular affirmation cards which will highlight clear and concise information on the impact of various elements of carton materials and production.

At Packaging Innovations London Curtis aim to drive the message further and display their support to the new WRAP (Waste and Resources Action Plan) guidelines.

WRAP offers informative guidelines to consider the materials you choose as to whether they can pass through the waste streams of recycling with either full or moderate compatibility or whether it will be problematic and should be avoided.

At the London event visitors will be able to receive the free handy ‘Design considerations for better recyclability of Printed Cartons’ information pack.  This will highlight the best materials and finishes to consider when choosing cartons.
